Social Democratic party leader Magdalena Andersson launches an attack against the Sweden Democrats and demands that Jimmie Åkesson intervene to stop Richard Jomshof’s ongoing book tour around the country, where the SD top criticizes Islam. The Social Democratic leader describes Jomshof’s tour as a “hate tour.”

The criticism from the Social Democratic party leader comes at the same time as her party is actively campaigning to attract immigrant votes through campaigns in languages other than Swedish. This is done both through ads in different languages and by Social Democrats with immigrant backgrounds meeting voters with the same background in the field.

Meanwhile, issues about Islam, Islamism, and whether Sweden can integrate practicing Muslims have become increasingly central to the political debate ahead of the election, with parties often clashing in heated discussions.

Jomshof has for a long time been one of the clearest SD voices criticizing Islam and what he describes as a development where Islam is gaining increasing influence in Sweden.

Magdalena Andersson, on the other hand, believes that Jomshof’s tour for the newly released book “Kafir,” where he sharply criticizes Islam and discusses issues of Islamism and what he describes as an ongoing Islamization of Sweden, contributes to societal division.

“This is a prime example of a calculated strategy to increase division in our country,” writes the Social Democratic leader.

In the same post, she also mentions the school attack in Fagersta in connection with her criticism of Jomshof and his book tour on Islam during the election campaign.

Furthermore, Magdalena Andersson urges Jimmie Åkesson to ensure that Jomshof cancels his tour, just a few weeks before election day. In this way, the Social Democratic leader is attempting to influence how a rival party manages one of its central political conflict issues.

Andersson’s message comes after an election campaign that she herself considers has taken on an overly harsh tone. She points out that Richard Jomshof recently called her and Social Democratic Aftonbladet’s political editor Anders Lindberg traitors.

“It looked as if the political debate was about to totally derail. In a very un-Swedish way,” Andersson argues.

Andersson describes Jomshof’s book tour as a “hate tour” and thus dismisses the criticism he has against Islam, Islamization, naive integration, and the role of religion in Sweden. The Social Democratic leader writes that Sweden does not need politicians who provoke or set groups against each other.

“The last thing Sweden needs right now is politicians who want to sow division, provoke, and pit groups against each other. Instead, I want to see a Sweden that sticks together.”

Now she wants Åkesson to stop Jomshof’s tour. Thus, it is about more than just a criticism of the tone of the election campaign. It is also an attempt to influence what issues and perspectives may be heard in the political debate.

Jomshof: ”No Small Nerve”

Richard Jomshof gives Magdalena Andersson a straightforward reply in which he questions her criticism regarding division and argues that the Social Democrats are hardly in a position to talk about either hate or political tone.

It is because of the Social Democrats that we now have a Sweden being torn apart by segregation and exclusion, a Sweden marked by humiliating robberies, sexual crimes, gang criminality, and organized crime.

To top it all off, we have an Islamization that is eating ever deeper into the democratic body of society, which is not surprising given that the Social Democrats are a party that has chosen to cooperate with and become dependent on Islamists.

Jomshof directs harsh criticism at the Social Democrats’ history of smearing political opponents and simultaneously points out the party’s responsibility for the development of segregation, gang crime, and what he describes as an ever deeper Islamization of Sweden.

They have smeared and spread pure lies about political opponents as well as labeled them as Nazis, fascists, and “threats to democracy.” They have had active Sweden Democrats fired from their jobs and expelled from various unions, while at the same time parts of the party

Jomshof argues that Andersson should take responsibility for her own party. The post in its entirety:
