During a press briefing in the Oval Office, U.S. President Donald Trump once again drew attention when he appeared to have trouble staying awake during an ongoing presentation.
The incident occurred at a meeting with the pharmaceutical company Regeneron, where ministers and company representatives participated in a joint press conference.
At the press briefing, as Trump let the representatives comment, he seemed noticeably tired. His eyelids were clearly heavy, and on several occasions he was seen leaning back with his eyes closed during the briefing.
But he never appeared to be in a deep sleep. Donald Trump opened his eyes regularly and nodded his head. It was possibly because he found the presentations dull—or because the fast pace of his work, not least with the ongoing conflict around the Strait of Hormuz, has taken its toll.

Taunted Joe Biden
Push: Previously taunted former president Joe Biden for the same thing. Now the clip is going viral.
The incident has attracted attention, not least against the backdrop of ongoing discussions about Trump’s health and stamina during his time in office.
Questions about age and physical endurance have followed Trump before as well. During the 2024 campaign, he repeatedly criticized then-President Joe Biden and questioned his energy and capacity to work.
Since Trump himself took office as the oldest president in American history, similar questions have now been directed at him.
