The Soros Executive’s Demands for Sweden: We Need More Immigration

The so-called teenage deportations are a disgrace, the Sweden Democrats are terrible, and immigration to Sweden must increase. So says financier Daniel Sachs, vice chairman of George Soros’s infamous organization Open Society.

He comes from a well-known merchant family and his great-grandfather was Josef Sachs, who started NK (Nordiska Kompaniet) in the early 1900s. Previously, Sachs was CEO of the investment company Proventus, but today he runs P Capital, which manages private credit funds. For the past 15 years, he has also run the Daniel Sachs Foundation, which works to “renew democracy” by highlighting young talents from so-called vulnerable areas.

His sister, Fanny Sachs, is married to Marcus Wallenberg, chairman of Wallenberg Investments AB, where Daniel Sachs is a board member.

– To run successful companies, it’s absolutely central that there is social trust, social mobility, legal certainty, and free research. All of this can’t be managed by politics alone. The companies have a clear self-interest here and a definite role to play, he says in an interview with Svenska Dagbladet, where he also laments that Sweden has gotten a government that does something as unusual as putting the Swedish people first.

– We need more, not less, immigration to Sweden. We are completely dependent on migration for our labor market and competitiveness, he tells the newspaper.

Stronger Community

Even though he wants more immigration, he simultaneously calls for the building of a stronger sense of community—two things that do not go together.

– I also think that these teenage deportations we’ve had… Well, I don’t really know what to say. It’s a humanitarian disgrace! I get so deeply upset.

Sachs believes it concerns young people who have studied in Sweden, lived here and see themselves as Swedes, and who have behaved impeccably in every way—a “moral collapse” and “socio-economic madness.”

Doesn’t Like SD

Despite it being the left that is dripping with antisemitism—in particular since the Hamas terror group’s massacre and the ensuing war—it is the Sweden Democrats that Svenska Dagbladet’s reporter asks about:

Yes, but the Sweden Democrats. Given your Jewish background and their history of antisemitism. What do you think of them?

Daniel Sachs stares across the table. Then he asks to take a break and leaves the room. A few minutes later, he returns.

– If you really want an answer, I can say this: SD is a party whose values I do not share. Full stop.

Sachs is convinced that Sweden would collapse “without all the Swedes with foreign backgrounds who make society work and enrich the country in every imaginable way.”
