On Friday, the U.S. government released the fourth batch of declassified documents about Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), more commonly known as UFOs. The material includes a total of 40 files, including documents, videos, audio recordings and photographs from the Pentagon, NASA, and other agencies. One of the reports describes how an experienced military pilot encountered an object he described as “unlike anything I’ve seen in my 28 years of service.”

The latest file release is the fourth since the Trump administration launched its program to gradually make historic UAP documents public. The White House has described the initiative as an effort to create “maximum transparency.” Many of the sightings remain unexplained and still lack a determined explanation.

Meanwhile, the UFO issue has returned to the center of cultural debate with Steven Spielberg’s new film Disclosure Day. The film depicts a scenario where the world’s governments announce that intelligent life from other worlds exists. In interviews, Spielberg has said the story is inspired by real data and human testimonies, fueling further discussion about the ongoing disclosures by U.S. authorities.

One of the most prominent figures in the new American UFO debate is Harvard astronomer Avi Loeb, who sits on an advisory UAP council established during the Trump administration.

Loeb has repeatedly argued that the U.S. government should investigate claims that private defense contractors may have recovered craft of unknown origin. He has said that a former Lockheed Martin employee has confirmed such information to him.

After Friday’s disclosure, Loeb also wrote a review of the new material, noting that each new file release gives researchers greater opportunities to analyze phenomena that were previously classified.

Members of Congress Press the Agencies

In Congress, several Republican representatives continue to push for greater transparency. Tim Burchett from Tennessee has for several years demanded that the Pentagon and intelligence agencies release all their UAP-related material. He recently revealed that people within the state have told him he should get bodyguards because he is “digging into sensitive issues.”

Eric Burlison is also pressing the CIA and FBI to release materials related to the so-called Varginha incident in Brazil in 1996. The case has long been one of the most talked about in the UFO world. Witnesses claimed that strange beings were observed following a suspected crash, and a doctor has said he encountered one of the beings at a hospital. There are also reports that a Brazilian soldier died after being involved in dealing with an alleged entity.

Documentary filmmaker James Fox has investigated the Brazil incident in several films and, in an interview, talked about what whistleblower David Grusch—who testified under oath before Congress about both craft and bodies—said that shocked those present.

Anna Paulina Luna Wants to Protect Whistleblowers

Another prominent voice is Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna. She has said she wants to provide stronger protections for those in the military, intelligence, and defense industry if they come forward with information about UAP programs.

In interviews, Luna has also said that she believes “UFOs are real” in the sense that unexplained craft exist, and that she expects more revelations in the future. She has also stated that she has discussed the issue with President Donald Trump and that, according to her, the administration is serious about strengthening protection for whistleblowers.

Lou Elizondo Continues Making Headlines

Former intelligence officer Luis “Lou” Elizondo, who led the Pentagon’s now-defunct program AATIP for analyzing military UFO sightings, also remains at the center of the debate.

Elizondo now claims that U.S. authorities have taken photographs showing what he describes as structures or buildings on the moon’s surface. Elizondo suggests that more material may be released in the future.

NASA Images Raise New Questions

NASA has also come under the spotlight after new images were included in Friday’s disclosure. The images have been widely analyzed online, with UFO enthusiasts arguing they show objects that cannot be easily explained.

NASA, however, has not stated that the material constitutes evidence of extraterrestrial activity, and has previously emphasized that the agency has found no scientific evidence for visits by alien life.

At the same time, new NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman confirms that even the American space agency possesses photographic material it has not been able to identify. In an interview with Fox News, Isaacman says NASA has registered objects that still lack explanation.

He also stresses that an unidentified object does not automatically mean it is of extraterrestrial origin, but simply that it is a phenomenon that has not yet been identified.

Isaacman also welcomes the Trump administration’s decision to release more previously classified UAP files, saying that increased openness is the right way forward. According to him, both government agencies and independent researchers can benefit from the material becoming available, which can ultimately help provide answers to some of the sightings that continue to puzzle both NASA and the military.

An Old Clip Goes Viral

Meanwhile, a decades-old video clip has found new life on social media. The clip features aviation pioneer John Northrop—the founder of Northrop Corporation, which later became part of today’s defense giant Northrop Grumman—discussing the possibility that advanced flying craft exist.

Northrop was one of the most influential aircraft designers in the U.S., and his company developed some of the world’s most advanced military aircraft.

Northrop Grumman is also one of the companies frequently mentioned in speculation that American defense firms are storing recovered materials from unknown craft.

Strong Resistance

As the releases continue, it is noted that there is much better material that they are trying to get out to the public.

Reports also persist from many quarters that the deep state continues to resist and wishes to keep the secrets to itself.

There are also fears that a full disclosure could collapse the world economy and break up religions. Added to this is new technology that could give the world clean and free energy—something not everyone welcomes.
