COLUMN • “We have 50 million Muslims in Europe. There are signs that Allah will grant Islam victory in Europe – without sword, without gun, without conquest – and turn it into a Muslim continent within a few decades.” This quote is from Libya’s former leader Muammar Gaddafi. For a society to sustain itself demographically, a fertility rate of 2.1 children per woman is required. In 2006, when Gaddafi made the statement above, the EU had a fertility rate of 1.5 children per woman. Today, the figure has dropped to 1.3. This is the next existential issue we need to talk about.
Demography always has two legs. One is migration. The other is fertility – how many children are born in the country. For many years, Sweden’s patriots have rightly focused on the first leg.
Mass immigration has fundamentally changed Sweden. It is not the migration of the individual itself that is the problem, but the consequences of mass immigration – the parallel societies that have emerged, the increased crime, the strain on welfare, declining social trust, and the cultural shift that threatens the cohesion of Swedish society.
Therefore, it is now high time that Sweden’s patriots and alternative media focus just as intensely on the other leg – childbearing. This is just as much an existential issue for Sweden as immigration has ever been. In fact, in the long run, it is even more important. Because while migration is at least starting to be addressed, the crisis awareness required regarding fertility is still missing.

These are the concrete, measurable damages to the Swedish people and Swedish demography that we have been pointing out for years.
A New Issue to Address
Now the wind has shifted somewhat. The immigration issue is finally being addressed politically – at least partially. Borders have been tightened, deportations have increased, and the Tidö government has realized that the previous policy was unsustainable. There is still an endless amount left to do, but the issue is no longer entirely outside the political agenda.
Therefore, it is now high time that Sweden’s patriots and alternative media focus just as intensely on the other leg – childbearing. This is just as much an existential issue for Sweden as immigration has ever been. In fact, in the long run, it is even more important. Because while migration is at least starting to be addressed, the crisis awareness required regarding fertility is still missing.
The think tank Oikos has recently published an important report specifically on this – “Crisis in the Population Question.” It can be read at demograf.se. There, the Swedish reality is presented in cold numbers: In 2024, the Total Fertility Rate stood at 1.43 children per woman. This is far below the replacement level of 2.1.
Rapid Decline
Each new generation is only 68 percent the size of the previous one. After three generations, barely a third of today’s population remains – if the trend holds steady. But the trend is not holding steady. It points downward. If it continues towards the levels we see in some other countries, closer to 1.1 children per woman, the Swedish population will shrink dramatically within 100–150 years. At that point, we are no longer talking about a challenge. We are talking about an existential crisis for the Swedish people.
At the same time, we must remember that there have long been powerful forces within Sweden’s borders striving to destroy Swedish culture, the nation, and its people. Intersectional feminism has, for decades, pumped out insane theories about the ‘white man’s’ inherent evil or uselessness, through universities, institutions, and state media.

This is not some abstract statistical exercise. It is about whether Swedish society, Swedish culture, and the Swedish people will even continue to exist as a living, cohesive nation in a few generations. It is about pensions, healthcare, education, innovation, defense, and the tax base. It is about our belief in the future – or rather, the lack of it.

At the same time, we must remember that there have long been powerful forces within Sweden’s borders striving to destroy Swedish culture, the nation, and its people. Intersectional feminism has, for decades, pumped out insane theories about the ‘white man’s’ inherent evil or uselessness, through universities, institutions, and state media.
The broad, alarmist debate this issue deserves is lacking. Politicians are happy to talk about “sustainability” and “climate,” but when it comes to the most fundamental sustainability of all – that enough Swedish children are born for society to reproduce itself – there is a strange silence.
No “naivety” is needed here or any “we didn’t see it coming”. The numbers have been there for a long time. Now, the same uncompromising scrutiny and opinion building are needed that Sweden’s patriots and alternative media devoted to the immigration issue during the 2010s.
So dear Sweden friends! More sex and intimacy – and make sure to have more children. Let it be a warm summer!
