An 18-year-old woman has been missing in Uddevalla since Tuesday afternoon. The family of the woman, whose name is Hanna, is appealing to the public for help in finding her.

On Wednesday, Missing People issued a missing person notice for Hanna on their website and through their social media channels.

“Hanna has long ash-brown hair. She is about 166 centimeters tall and weighs about 67 kg. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a yellow-beige hoodie, a short black jacket, and blue jeans,” according to the notice.

Police involved

The police in Västra Götaland have been involved in the search for the 18-year-old woman since Tuesday. Police spokesperson Adam Isaksson Samara told Samnytt that the woman’s family reported her missing, and that police do not believe she is missing of her own accord.

“There are various circumstances in the case. Not least, the family believes she is missing. I can’t provide more detailed information about all the circumstances, particularly considering personal privacy,” he said.

Despite this, there is no suspicion that 18-year-old Hanna has been the victim of a crime.

“At present, we have no suspicion of a crime. We work almost daily with missing persons cases where there is no suspicion of a crime. That is one of our duties,” says Adam Isaksson Samara.
