Going on vacation is usually one of the more pleasant experiences, but even then, there are things that many Swedes find annoying. A travel company has found out what the biggest sources of irritation are during vacation.

Reserving sunbeds is something that irritates many holidaymakers, but according to a new survey conducted by Kantar Media on behalf of the travel company TUI, Swedes’ top irritations list is led by something completely different.

High Expectations

One in four say that reserving sunbeds is the most annoying. Other things that irritate people are inattentive or rude staff (29 percent).

– When we’re finally on vacation and have invested both time and money in a trip, expectations are high. For many Swedes, it’s fundamentally about recovery, and good sleep is essential. If you are disturbed by noise or can’t sleep properly, it affects the entire travel experience, says Dian Martinez Valencia, communications manager at TUI.
