A Social Democratic politician in Dalarna has stated in an interview that forced integration of Sweden’s residents will happen ‘sooner or later.’ He emphasizes that in a society people must mix with each other, and that the opposite would be ‘crazy.’

Last year, the Social Democrats adopted a new party program with a clear focus on pushing their so-called integration efforts after many years of mass immigration. The document states, among other things:

“Measures to keep society together and break segregation need to increase,” the new party program reads, along with: “A community planning that in every aspect counteracts segregation, especially in the housing sector.”

“It’s at Work That One Becomes Swedish”

In an interview with the Social Democratic think tank Katalys, Jussi Nieminen Jusola (S) says that forced integration will take place.

Jussi Nieminen Jusola is a leading Social Democratic politician in Borlänge, who sits on the municipal board and serves as chair of the Environmental and Community Development Committee. He says he cannot understand that there are Swedes who do not want to live in a multicultural society.

– In a country, people must mix with each other. It would be absolutely terrible if we would segregate ourselves for several hundred years. It just sounds completely crazy.

– So, of course … forced integration … sooner or later … it takes a few generations, but we will marry each other. We will find girlfriends and boyfriends who have a different ethnic background, hasn’t that always been the case?

– Anyone who’s afraid of that … I think it’s very strange. My children have classmates whom they treat just like anyone else. They have a different ethnic background. I can’t understand the idea, ‘no, it should always remain segregated.’

The Social Democratic leader then proceeds to claim that Sweden’s immigration-related problems will mainly be solved by more people entering the workforce. According to him, it is in the workplace that people become part of society and, as he puts it, “it’s at work you become Swedish.”
