Apple has launched its latest collection – Pride bands for their Apple Watch product. In addition to the band, they have also distributed several wallpapers and themes with a Pride feel to their users of iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. When Samnytt reviews the launch, it is revealed that marketing only takes place in the Western world and that countries in the Arab world and Africa are completely excluded.

Several companies in the Western world are highlighting the Pride movement with various product initiatives, including logos with Pride colors and clothing collections. The tech company Apple doesn’t want to be left out and has therefore launched rainbow-colored bands so that customers can “spread Pride joy”.

But how proud is Apple of the LGBTQ+ movement, really?

Samnytt has reviewed the initiative and found that “Pride joy” is only marketed in the Western world, but if you visit Apple’s website in any Arab country or country in Africa, there is no sign of the band; instead, marketing for the product “MacBook Pro” appears in the same place.
