A well-organized theft gang has targeted several Jem & Fix stores across Sweden during the month of March. The most recent targets include stores in Avesta, Borlänge, Falun, Hedemora, Sala, and Varberg.
The police describe the perpetrators as experienced and quick—they spend only a few minutes in the stores. By splitting up and keeping staff occupied with questions, they manage to steal goods.
The latest thefts have mainly focused on electrically powered hand tools of the Einhell brand. According to the police, there is one perpetrator who always participates in the thefts, while his accomplices vary.
The police urge the public to get in touch if they have seen anything suspicious or have observations regarding the gang’s movements. Contact the police at 114 14 or TV3 Efterlyst at 08-702 00 90.
