A lifeguard at Karlsrobadet in Eslöv has reported an incident to the police after being threatened by a visitor. The event occurred when the employee intervened to help a child out of the pool.

The incident took place around midday on Sunday when the lifeguard, a man in his mid-twenties, helped the child out of the water. The action was not appreciated by an older man at the pool, who became upset and accused the employee of not keeping a proper watch over the bathers.

However, the situation did not end there. A short while later, the man approached the lifeguard again.

According to the police report, he then directed the following words at the employee:

– I don’t care how much attention you pay, but what are people supposed to do if you lose your teeth, reports Skånska Dagbladet.

Several people at the scene are said to have witnessed the incident. After the episode, the lifeguard turned to the police. The matter is being investigated as a threat against a public official.
