On Sunday afternoon, the family of a 57-year-old woman alerted the police. She had not been seen or heard from for almost a day. Now both the police and the public are searching for Anna.
Anna disappeared around 9 p.m. on Saturday evening after leaving a restaurant in central Örebro. No one has heard from her since. At the restaurant, she had been with an acquaintance, and they went home in different directions.
The police have searched day and night, using, among other things, a helicopter and an underwater robot, but have found nothing. Anyone who may have seen Anna after 9 p.m. on Saturday or has information about her is urged to contact the police by calling 114 14 and asking to be connected to the regional command center in Örebro. In urgent cases, dial 112. The police are specifically interested in sightings from Slottsparken in Örebro.

Anna has light gray hair and wears black glasses. She is about 164 centimeters tall and weighs approximately 75 kg. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a dark fleece jacket, blue/black jeans, and probably sport shoes.
On Tuesday, Missing People also became involved in the case and conducted an emergency search operation. On Wednesday, the organization is calling for volunteers to help search for Anna starting at 5 p.m., gathering at Wadköpingsvägen 4 (Örebro Canoe Club).
The police are also conducting a door-to-door investigation in the area. Currently, no crime is suspected in connection with the disappearance, but a preliminary investigation has nevertheless been launched.
“That is so we can carry out certain investigative measures. We are still interested in receiving tips if anyone believes they saw the woman at the time of the disappearance,” says Christina Hallin, press spokesperson for the police, to Nerikes Allehanda.
