CULTURE • American media company Daily Wire continues its investment in film and entertainment outside Hollywood’s left-leaning culture. This fall, the action film “Run Hide Fight: Infidels” is set to premiere, where Islamist terrorists take over a pro-Palestinian student camp at an American university. The full trailer has now been released.
The American media platform Daily Wire, founded by, among others, Ben Shapiro and Jeremy Boreing, has in recent years invested increasingly large resources into building its own entertainment division alongside its news and opinion journalism.
On Thursday, Daily Wire released the full trailer for “Run Hide Fight: Infidels”, the sequel to the 2020 action film “Run Hide Fight.” Ben Shapiro also highlighted the trailer on his social media.
The film will premiere on DailyWire+ on September 16.

In the film, a pro-Palestinian protest camp at a liberal American university is infiltrated by radical Islamists. The terrorists then take control of the campus, take students hostage, and attempt to establish a provisional caliphate where people considered infidels are threatened with death.
The main role is played by Jonathan Majors, who portrays retired Delta Force soldier Clay Saunders. He is at the university to speak about his new book and warn against the rise of Islamism in the USA when the attack begins.
In the trailer, his character says that Islam will attempt to conquer the West through immigration, demographics, and by using the West’s own freedoms against it.
When the terrorists strike, Saunders, a security guard, and a number of students are forced to go from words to action.
Inspired by 1980s Action Films
Producer Dallas Sonnier describes the film as an attempt to revive a kind of straightforward American action film that he believes has mostly disappeared from Hollywood.
During the launch, Sonnier mentioned figures like John Milius, “Red Dawn,” Clint Eastwood, Sylvester Stallone, and Arnold Schwarzenegger as inspirations.
– Nobody makes movies like this anymore, he stated.
“Run Hide Fight: Infidels” is simultaneously part of a much larger project at Daily Wire.
Aiming to Build an Alternative to Hollywood
Daily Wire entered the film and entertainment industry in earnest around 2020 and 2021. The ambition has not only been to criticize Hollywood’s political and cultural direction but also to create an actual alternative for audiences who do not feel represented by it.
Co-founder Jeremy Boreing has explicitly described the strategy as “building alternatives.”
Boreing has argued that conservatives and more traditionally oriented Americans certainly have substantial purchasing power, but have had few options when it comes to pure entertainment.
– The problem is that Americans haven’t had very many alternatives, he said while describing Daily Wire’s strategy.
According to Boreing, it’s not enough for the right to complain about Hollywood, the media, or other cultural institutions. Instead, they must build competing businesses.

He has at the same time emphasized that the films should not serve as political pamphlets. Entertainment must come first, otherwise the audience simply won’t want to pay for the products.
This is also where Daily Wire’s efforts differ from many earlier conservative film projects. Right-leaning, patriotic, and traditional films have long existed, but a larger and more sustained commercial film and TV operation that explicitly competes with Hollywood from a non-leftist perspective has been much more unusual.
Hundred-Million-Dollar Investment in Children’s Entertainment
The initiative does not stop with adult films.
Already in 2022, Daily Wire announced that the company would invest at least 100 million dollars over three years in its own children’s entertainment, including both animated productions and feature films.
Boreing also described this initiative as an attempt to offer families an alternative to the major entertainment companies.
Since then, Daily Wire has built up a catalog of feature films, documentaries, comedies, and children’s programs. Among the productions are “Lady Ballers,” “What Is a Woman?”, “Am I Racist?” and several drama films.
This entertainment initiative has also taken on an increasingly central role at the company. When Jeremy Boreing stepped down from day-to-day management as CEO in 2025, he announced that he would instead devote his full attention to Daily Wire’s creative activities and entertainment production.
“Run Hide Fight: Infidels” thus becomes yet another test of whether Daily Wire can succeed with its greater ambition: not just to be a conservative media company, but also to build a genuine alternative to the culture and entertainment industry that for several decades has been dominated by left-liberal perspectives.
The film premieres on DailyWire+ on September 16.
