In Verian’s December survey, Ebba Busch and her Christian Democrats get a significant boost and achieve their highest rating in three years. At the same time, the Örebro Party is making a splash.

Five percent is the Christian Democrats’ best figure since October 2022 in Verian’s surveys.

– KD primarily attracts voters from the Moderate Party. One explanation for the increase in support may be Ebba Busch’s controversial statements about more cooperation across party lines. Her trust has also increased in the surveys during the autumn, says Per Söderpalm, head of opinion at Verian.

On the other hand, things are going worse for the Left Party, which gets its worst figure since 2016.

Örebro Party Surpasses MED and AfS

The opposition still has a lead, this time by 7.2 percentage points.

In the ‘other’ category, 2.6 percent are noted, and Verian points out that many there are writing in the Örebro Party. According to Söderpalm, the party has surpassed both the Civic Coalition and Alternative for Sweden.
