Center Party’s EU parliamentarian Emma Wiesner has published a video clip on social media where she lashes out after being met by campaign ads from the Sweden Democrats in public transport upon returning home from vacation.
– But what is going on, she screams.
The election campaign was visible at Stockholm Central Station on Monday morning, where SD’s campaign posters had been placed on the revolving doors.
The message is that anyone who commits crimes, lives off benefits, does not learn Swedish, or otherwise misbehaves should return to their home country.
This made Center Party member Emma Wiesner react strongly. She recorded a video clip where she vented her anger over the campaign.
The politician describes the election as a reminder of what she believes is at stake in the election. She emphasizes that, in her view, it is not only a traditional conflict between the Tidö parties and the opposition, but also about the Sweden Democrats’ future influence over government power.
She warns that the party could gain significant political influence and concludes by saying that she refuses to accept that development.
– We make Sweden Sweden again. Creepy similar to “Keep Sweden Swedish.” And they’re not even hiding it. This is the message they have run their campaign on and they’ve plastered the whole damn T-Centralen, she screams in the clip.
