A five-year-old girl has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being subjected to violence in Furutorpsparken in Helsingborg on Tuesday afternoon.
The alarm was raised around 3 pm and police immediately launched a major operation at the scene. A large area around the park has been cordoned off and forensic technicians have been working to secure evidence.
According to Region Skåne, the girl is being treated for serious injuries. Witnesses told Helsingborgs Dagblad that they saw a child being transported from the scene by ambulance after being involved in a violent incident.

People in the area describe a dramatic situation with screams and commotion. A local resident said that the park was completely cordoned off and that a large number of police officers, technicians, and dog patrols were present at the scene.
