The Swedish Gambling Authority criticizes the Social Democrats following the scandal involving the party lottery Kombispel. According to the authority, the party has failed in its responsibility.
At the end of last year, the Swedish Consumer Agency criticized the scandal-ridden lottery operations of the Social Democrats. The authority found that the license holder – the three organizations – had failed in their control and responsibility.
It was last fall when the Social Democrats’ lottery operations received significant attention. The party was revealed to have targeted confused elderly and indebted individuals, whom they had deceived into expensive lottery subscriptions. The operation also involved gang criminals.
