Food producer Korv-Göran is recalling a batch of its frozen “Döner Kebab” after traces of pork were found in the raw material. At the same time, Korv-Göran clarifies that there is no health risk.

The food producer has published a press release regarding the recall. It concerns 1-kilogram packages with best-before dates of August 5, 2027, and July 18, 2027.

According to the company, pork was not listed in the product’s ingredient list, but was discovered in a delivered beef raw material that was later used in production. Some of the affected products have already reached stores.

No health risk

At the same time, the company emphasizes that the product is not considered to pose any health risk to consumers, but that the contents do not match the labeling.

The affected batches were delivered between May 21 and June 22, 2026, and carry the EAN code 6416345084065.

The company now urges retailers to immediately remove the products from sale and dispose of them according to current routines. The number of removed packages should be reported back to the company.

“We regret the inconvenience this recall causes,” writes Korv-Göran in its statement.
