A new migrant-related incident is shaking Germany. In a filmed attack, a German girl is brutally assaulted. To further humiliate the victim, the video was then shared. As the perpetrators are minors, the authorities’ response is limited. Now, stronger action is being demanded.

The incident occurred when the 12-year-old girl was on her way home from school in Leipzig on March 3, when she was assaulted by a gang of four teenage girls. The 12-year-old was forced to kneel while being put in a chokehold, humiliated, and repeatedly beaten.

“Kneel,” orders one of the girls.

The victim goes down on her knees and apologizes to the girls “for everything I have done,” as the attackers laugh.

“Hit me, then,” says the girl holding the mobile phone and filming.

An accomplice approaches the victim and hits her hard.

“Do you want to?” asks the girl off screen.

“Sure, always,” responds one of her friends and strikes, followed by a third member of the group.

The victim kneels without resisting. She only asks to stand up again “because of my pants.”

Minors

In another video, the four attackers can be seen chasing the 12-year-old. They corner the victim again, and one of the girls hits her. In a third video, they encircle her again while she pleads “please, stop,” but her attackers continue.

The torture-like assault was filmed and then spread online. At the school, it is only stated that they are “monitoring the situation” and will talk to the girls’ parents. However, according to Focus, the suspected perpetrators will be investigated for aggravated assault, depiction of violence, and coercion. The police decline to provide further details as minors are involved.

Shocking violence

The girl’s father is devastated.

“This is a terrible humiliation, the limits for respectful interaction have been widely exceeded! My daughter had to be examined by a doctor at the hospital and I have filed a police report,” he told Bild.

One person who has reacted strongly to the incident is Martin Sellner, leader of the Identitarian Movement in Austria and founder of the Institute for Remigration.

In a post on X he writes:

While male migrant gangs tend to rape and murder, the so-called “girl gangs” torture German girls in an unimaginable way. The torture videos they produce are among the most horrific things I have ever seen. They and their families have received nothing but benefits from the German people. It is frightening to see how these young migrants hate European people, especially young blonde girls, so much.

Calls for lowering the age of criminal responsibility

Anti-violence and anti-bullying coach Carsten Stahl told Focus that violent acts like the one in Leipzig, whether committed by boys or girls, are not isolated incidents and that filming and publishing extreme violence and targeted humiliation of victims is now a sad and frightening reality.

“The propensity for violence and brutality among children and youth has increased dramatically in recent years and continues to rise. Young people now know that those under 14 will not be held criminally liable, and those over 14 will only receive ridiculous punishments, such as a few hours of community service or the like. They laugh at such punishments and even boast about their acts of violence and videos on their social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram.”

“If the judiciary, politicians, and those responsible in our country do not finally and consistently take action and promote and adopt measures such as targeted and effective preventative measures in schools, but also new laws, such as lowering the age of criminal responsibility to twelve years, then acts of violence among young people will only become more unscrupulous, more brutal, more inhumane, and more deadly in just a few years.”
