Woman deceased after fall from balcony

On Thursday morning, another woman passed away after falling from a balcony in a multicultural area. A man has been arrested.

It was just before 5 am when the police were called to a multi-family house on Dalgatan in Södertälje, where a woman in her 60s had fallen from a high balcony and sustained serious injuries. Life-saving measures were taken, but the woman passed away.

The circumstances surrounding the woman’s fall are described as unclear, and the police have initiated a murder investigation. A man of the same age with “a close relationship” to the woman was arrested and detained. The man is reasonably suspected of murder.

The police technicians examined the scene during the morning.

“We have arrested a person, a person of the same age. He has been detained by the prosecutor. We are investigating this as a murder, but it is still a very open question as to what has happened. We are investigating whether a crime has been committed,” said the police spokesperson, Daniel Wikdahl, to Telgenytt.

Balcony Girls

In a social media post in 2021, Ebba Busch (KD) drew attention to the immigrant phenomenon of so-called balcony girls. She noted that it almost exclusively involves immigrant women who are either pushed or driven to take their own lives:

Within a short period, the police have initiated three investigations into suspected cases of honor killings, after women have fallen from great heights and died.

Balcony girls. They are called that because so many young women and girls with immigrant backgrounds have been forced to jump to their deaths from great heights or have been pushed by their male relatives.

Unfortunately, this is not news. Nevertheless, Sweden must put a stop to this. Sweden must engage in the battle of values. Sweden should never have ended up in this position. But now we have no choice. Some values are not optional.

One in ten murders in 2017 was an honor killing. One-third of the murdered women may have been killed in the name of honor. The number of mutilated individuals has almost doubled in Sweden.
