Two men were shot dead on Tuesday evening in a car at a grocery store and a parking garage in Gothenburg. This is the second double murder in Sweden in a short period of time.

It was just before 6 p.m. when the police received a report of a shooting at Överåsvallen in the district of Lunden. At the scene, two men were found shot dead in a rental car.

The police have set up a large yellow tent over two vehicles at the scene where technicians are working to secure evidence.

The man who was the renter of the car is reported to be involved in the gang environments in Hisingen, according to information provided to Göteborgs-Posten. Furthermore, there are indications that the incident is part of the gang conflict between northern and southern Biskopsgården.
