With visa-free travel to 186 countries, the Swedish passport is the third best in the world. Only a few Asian countries rank higher.
Despite increasingly widespread abuse and fraud involving Swedish passports as Sweden has become more multicultural and citizenships are handed out rather freely, its strength endures – at least for now.

Visa-free travel to 186 countries is shared with the United Arab Emirates and is topped only by Singapore with 192, and Japan and South Korea with 187 each.

Afghan bottom
Norway, Denmark, and Finland are in fourth place with 185 countries. Iceland, however, is a bit further down – ninth place with 180 countries.
At the very bottom is Afghanistan with 24 countries.
