The 27-year-old gang rapper Mohamed “Moewgli” Mohdhi, who has previously been promoted by Swedish Radio, is now wanted for murder and several other serious crimes and is included on the EU’s list of the most wanted criminals.

Mohamed Mohdhi is suspected, among other things, of the murder of a 15-year-old boy at a sushi restaurant in Skogås in January 2023 and is linked to gang leader Rawa Majid, better known as the Kurdish Fox and leader of the Foxtrot network.

16-year-old Isak Brandin was sentenced to four years in closed juvenile care for the contract killing. Meanwhile, Mohamed Mohdhi was last year remanded in absentia, suspected of the same crime, even though someone else may have pulled the trigger.

The 24-year-old gang rapper Remon “5iftyy” Ghide is also remanded in absentia, suspected of the murder, under what is termed as extended perpetrator liability. He is also linked to the Foxtrot network.

Since autumn 2023, Remon “5iftyy” Ghide has been imprisoned in Tunisia along with four other gang members. They are all connected to the Bro network and have close ties to Foxtrot leader Rawa “The Kurdish Fox” Majid.

Multiple Suspicions

According to Europol’s wanted notice, Mohamed “Moewgli” Mohdhi is suspected of murder, exceptionally serious drug offenses, and several other serious crimes.

The suspect is wanted for murder, conspiracy to commit murder, incitement to commit murder, exceptionally serious drug offenses, and several other serious crimes. He belongs to an organized criminal network where he has an active role through the mentioned crimes.

The gang-affiliated rapper, who grew up in Upplands-Bro in northern Stockholm County and has an immigrant background from Tunisia, is now believed to be in his family’s homeland. He has not been arrested there, but according to Swedish authorities, he has been banned from traveling.

State Radio Promoted

Swedish Radio has used its platform to promote the music of the now Europol-hunted suspected murderer. Under the stage name “Moewgli,” he has garnered millions of plays on Spotify and YouTube through his music, which glorifies a gang criminal lifestyle.

In October 2021, Mohdhi also had a long interview on Sveriges Radio P3 under the headline “Moewgli about his hectic debut year.”
