The rapper begged for his life as gunshots echoed through the garage. Now, 22-year-old Alexander Nord has been sentenced to life in prison for the high-profile murder of Ninos “Gaboro” Khouri in Norrköping. The district court describes the crime as marked by a “shocking disregard for human life.”
It was a cold December evening in central Norrköping when violence caught up with the 23-year-old rapper Ninos “Gaboro” Khouri—the same violence he had built a career glorifying in his rap lyrics.
It was just after 8 PM on December 19, 2024, when reports came in of shots fired at the Spiran parking garage. Just hours later, it became clear that the masked gangster rapper—with millions of streams on Spotify and a name known even outside Östergötland’s criminal circles—had been gunned down with several shots. The next day would have been his 24th birthday.
Waited for Him in the Garage
According to the investigation, the rapper had just left a gym and was heading to the parking garage to get his car when the perpetrator struck. The shooter was already waiting in the garage.
At least ten shots were fired. Several hit Gaboro, who fell to the ground between the rows of parked cars. Despite his injuries, he was still alive as the perpetrator approached. The entire incident was filmed.
What was then shared on social media shocked many. In the video, the severely injured, no longer so tough, rapper can be heard screaming and begging for his life as the shooter continues cold-bloodedly. The clip quickly spread in criminal circles and online.

Why We Are Publishing This Material
Samnytt has chosen to publish the video clip of the murder to underscore the seriousness of the situation Sweden currently finds itself in regarding escalating gang violence, where human life no longer seems to be worth anything, perpetrators are getting younger, and people are robbed, humiliated, shot, and stabbed while residential areas are shaken by bombings and innocents are affected.
This happens in parallel with the rise of gangster culture through rap music that glorifies the same environments and is marketed by tax-funded public service entities such as Swedish Radio. According to Samnytt, other media do not fully take responsibility for reporting on this reality, resulting in insufficient pressure on national politicians to take the necessary measures to stop the development.
We also wish to inform our readers that, according to laws on illegal depiction of violence and illegal invasion of privacy, it may be a crime for private individuals to copy and distribute the video clip further on social media. However, it is not a crime to share a link to our article, which, thanks to our publishing certificate as a media operator, is protected by stronger constitutional rights.
“One of the Worst”
Police investigator Jan Staaf later described the murder as one of the most ruthless cases he has worked on.
– All murders are abhorrent, but this case is perhaps one of the worst my investigation team and I have taken on. When someone is executed lying on the ground, begging for their life while the perpetrator films the act, it hardly gets any worse, he said in connection with the prosecution.
Tied to Gang Conflict
According to police, Gaboro was closely tied to the criminal Kalo network in Norrköping and is believed to have been a target in an ongoing gang conflict in the city. The pre-trial investigation reveals that his name appeared on a so-called death list circulating in the criminal milieu.

The message was brutal: “Everyone on this list will die, sooner or later.” Investigators suspect that the murder was ordered by a rival network and that the shooter was offered payment for the hit.
Life Imprisonment
The verdict came on Friday at Norrköping District Court. 22-year-old Alexander Nord was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of the gang-affiliated gangster rapper. At the time of the crime, he was known as Edvin Bjerselius but changed his name during the legal process.
The district court concludes the murder was committed with great brutality and that Nord acted without regard for human life. The verdict states: “Alexander Nord’s actions (…) were characterized by a frightening indifference to the lives of others.”
According to the indictment, Nord had no personal connection to the rapper. Contact with the person who ordered the hit is believed to have happened through chat groups in the criminal underworld, and the murder was allegedly committed for “personal financial gain.” Nord has denied the murder and all other serious crimes but confessed to drug offenses.

Convicted of Multiple Violent Crimes
In addition to the murder, Alexander Nord was also convicted of several other serious crimes. He was found guilty of attempted murder and serious weapons offenses after having shot at a residence just days before the fatal shooting in the parking garage. He was also convicted of further serious weapons and drug offenses.
A 30-year-old man who was prosecuted on suspicion of being an accomplice to murder—and who, according to the prosecutor, had encouraged the shooter to carry out the act—was acquitted by the district court due to lack of evidence.
From TikTok Sensation to Deadly Shooting
Using the fictional name Gaboro and always masked, Ninos Khouri had in recent years become a well-known figure in Swedish gangster rap. His music, which revolved exclusively around serious crime, violence, and gang life, garnered millions of streams and quickly spread on TikTok and streaming platforms.
He also performed on Swedish Radio, where, masked, he delivered violent lyrics. The taxpayer-funded media platform has faced heavy criticism for poor judgment in legitimizing an artist who attracts young immigrant youths into gang crime.
At the same time, police described him as closely connected to the criminal environment in Norrköping—a connection that investigators say ultimately led to the bloody execution in the Spiran parking garage.
