Sweden’s Minister of Defence, Pål Jonson (Moderate Party), is currently in the USA to participate in this year’s meeting with the closed :censored:6:cdd6bbaa89:ist group Bilderberg. He justifies his attendance by noting that representatives from the Trump administration are expected to be present, giving EU countries a chance for informal talks.
The annual meeting gathers a carefully selected circle of power brokers from politics, business, and academia in the Western world. The gathering takes place behind closed doors, with no access for the public or media—and without official statements or press conferences, which has contributed to criticism and raised questions.
