A couple of weeks ago, the Sweden Democrats in the City of Stockholm presented their shadow budget for 2026. When it was debated in the city council, a member of the Green Party expressed dismay over the design of the budget.

Some of the points in the budget include opposition to the Social Democrats’ forced mixing, requirements for staff in preschool and elderly care to speak Swedish, more security guards, and a reduction of 1,000 SEK in municipal tax. They also oppose the plans of the red-green government to use tax money for things like pride benches.

The budget is illustrated with a large ‘no’ and ‘yes’ on the front, where the infamous district of Rinkeby is placed in the ‘no’ category:

Also participating in the debate was former Minister for Gender Equality, now Environmental and Climate Mayor of Stockholm, Åsa Lindhagen (Green Party).

Lindhagen was very upset about the Sweden Democrats’ budget and its design. ‘A terrible view of humanity’, was one of the comments:
