A businessman in his 50s was shot at Mathildatorget in Solna during the morning. A boy under the age of 15 has been arrested on suspicion of the shooting.

The shooting occurred just before 11 a.m. while the suspected boy was on a break from his internship. Several shots were reportedly fired at the square.

The police were called to the scene and the man was taken to hospital by ambulance. The current condition of the victim is unknown. A witness who arrived after the shooting told Aftonbladet that the man collapsed on the ground and had injuries on his right side.

According to information from Aftonbladet, the suspected boy allegedly left his internship to carry out the shooting, and then returned to his workplace where he was arrested.
