They followed a young Norwegian woman, then dragged her into a car, drove to a remote location, and gang-raped her. Now, a 24-year-old and a 23-year-old are on trial.

The alleged assault is said to have occurred in the early hours of Saturday, July 26, 2025, as the woman was on her way home after a night out in central Stavanger. Her friends had taken a taxi, and she was walking alone. Shortly before, the two men had by chance come into contact with her in the city’s center.

According to the indictment, which Document.no has seen, they followed the woman. The 23-year-old Afghan followed her on foot while the 24-year-old Syrian retrieved his car. They then dragged the woman in and drove to a remote site.

According to the charges, the men refused to let the woman leave the car until she had engaged in sexual activity with both of them. She made it clear she did not want this, but her fear was so overwhelming that she gave up all resistance. What followed was a prolonged and systematic rape in which both men assaulted her.

The police’s swift investigation was aided by the victim’s actions. She filmed one of the attackers as he followed her and shared the video on Snapchat.
