A ten-year-old girl in Germany was subjected to an extremely brutal gang rape by three Syrian men. Over several hours, they raped her, urinated on her, smeared her with feces, beat, and kicked her. The case has never been reported in mainstream news media.

It wasn’t until the victim’s representative, Michael Kyrath, spoke about the incident during a debate on the Austrian channel ServusTV that it became known.

Kyrath, who works supporting over a thousand families of crime victims, said during the debate:

We are currently supporting 36 young women who have become victims of sexual violence, including so-called gang rapes, which didn’t happen here at all ten or fifteen years ago. The youngest victim I am helping right now was raped over several hours by three Syrians. They urinated on her, smeared her with feces, beat her, and kicked her. The girl is ten years old. Ten years old!

He added that, according to him, the perpetrators cannot be rehabilitated with the methods used in Germany, as the therapists’ training is adapted to Central European socialization.

Nothing in the Media

No public information about the case has been found in German media. This may be related to the age of the victim, but similar cases have also been kept out of the news flow. One example is the trial of two Iraqi brothers who raped a seven-year-old girl in Essen. Even there, coverage was minimal and details only emerged as the trial began.

Kyrath himself lost his 17-year-old daughter Ann-Marie, who, together with her boyfriend, was stabbed to death by a Palestinian Arab migrant in 2023. Since then, he has become one of the most visible voices for crime victims in Germany and often appears on debate programs. During the ServusTV broadcast, he criticized the political handling of immigration-related crime:

It is always the same perpetrator profile, almost always the same weapon, basically the same sequence of events, same motives. And for eleven years, we have heard the same empty phrases from responsible politicians – that it’s not so bad, that you have to be nuanced, that you must not play into the hands of the right-wing.

People die every day, children die every day. And here we are, debating right versus left.

He also pointed out that the authorities lack an overview of how many illegal people are in the country, where they are, and what intentions they have.

– We put them in container villages, give them a few euros a month and call it successful integration. That has nothing to do with humanity or Christianity, he said.

Similar Cases

In Sweden, Samnytt has for several years reported on similar assaults. Two Syrians and an Afghan were convicted for raping a 14-year-old girl who was unconscious on a sofa during a party in Småland. The assaults were filmed and the videos were spread.

A Syrian teenager was prosecuted for raping and systematically humiliating his 14-year-old girlfriend in Gothenburg, including at libraries and travel centers.

Three Iraqis were prosecuted for a gang rape of a 14-year-old girl at Ribersborg Beach in Malmö in 2011. DNA traces led to the men being arrested more than twelve years later.

The cases show a pattern where very young girls are subjected to gang rapes by men from the Middle East, and where reporting is often minimal or completely absent. Kyrath argues that every such case that comes to light further shifts public opinion, which may be a political reason why many crimes never reach the public.

The case of the ten-year-old girl in Germany is yet another example of how serious assaults can remain unknown until someone like Kyrath chooses to tell about them live on air.
