On Thursday, spokesperson Amanda Lind represented her party, the Green Party, at Järva Week in Stockholm. There, she mentioned, among other things, the so-called teenage deportations.
In her speech, Amanda Lind presented a new election promise in the form of a so-called Sweden Card for public transportation, something that has also been promised previously. The Sweden Card is to cost 499 kronor for adults and 249 kronor for children, students, and pensioners, and will be valid for travel on all public and regional transport throughout the country.
This week, the Tidö government made an election promise to halve the price of monthly travel cards nationwide.
– It may be election pork, but for once the Tidö government has taken a step in the right direction. We welcome that. But we want more! That’s why I am presenting an election promise today: When the Green Party is in government, we will make the price reduction permanent through a Sweden Card, said Lind.

Another topic that came up was the so-called teenage deportations.
– I want to address you young people who live in the uncertainty created by the Tidö parties’ migration policy – you have a place in this country! You are valuable to Sweden. Not mainly because of how you contribute or because you do the right thing. But because you are important, and your lives matter – they must not be ruined by politicians with deportation mania! The government must come up with a solution, and it needs to happen now!
On social media, many are questioning the priorities, arguing that efforts always seem to favor the rest of the world over Sweden and the Swedish people.
“When did you speak so lovingly and caringly to our elderly, who helped build the country you are doing everything to give away, while our old people are raped, abused, and neglected?” writes a woman who has received almost 600 ‘likes’.
“In what way are they important if they do not contribute? I think it sounds weird. The rhetoric is a bit high,” comments a man.
