The Swedish krona is this year the best performing currency among the most traded currencies in the so-called G10 group, which consists of ten of the world’s largest and most traded currencies, including the US dollar, the euro, the British pound, and the Japanese yen.

Currently, the exchange rate is at 9.33 kronor per US dollar, which represents an increase of almost 15 percent since the beginning of the year.

Even the Norwegian krone has significantly strengthened during the year, with an increase of over 12 percent against the dollar.

Among those that have performed poorly are the Canadian dollar and the New Zealand dollar (kiwi), which have lost 4.1 and 3.25 percent, respectively, against the US dollar since the beginning of the year.
