On Monday, the police launched a new social media campaign aimed at encouraging more people with immigrant backgrounds to apply for the police profession.

Previously, the police have tried using posters in other languages. This time, they are inviting people to an event where over 200 individuals interested in a police career are expected to participate.

“Society is changing and we in the police force must adapt to those changes,” says police officer Boxiao “Bosse” Pan to the national television.

According to Pan, it is a great help to the police when they have employees with various languages and skills.

The informational meeting on February 10 will take place at the Police Headquarters on Kungsholmen in Stockholm. During the event, a panel discussion will be held among other activities, and attendees will be able to ask questions.
