Ukrainian Davyd Raped Woman at Malmö Central Station – DEPORTED to the Frontline

A 22-year-old Ukrainian man has now been convicted for an assault rape that took place at Malmö Central Station in June this year. He forced a woman into a public restroom and pushed his penis into her mouth. He has now been sentenced to prison and lifetime deportation.

It was on June 4 this year that 22-year-old Ukrainian citizen Davyd Shcherbakov, who came to Sweden after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, was present at Malmö Central Station.

Surveillance footage shows him standing near the entrance to the restrooms by a bicycle parking area. When an unknown woman to him passed by and went down the stairs, he followed her.

He stood outside the restrooms, as if waiting for one to become available, but when a man came out he did not enter after him. Instead, he waited for the woman he had followed to come out.

When she opened the door he approached her and asked if she wanted to go into the restroom with him, but when she said no, he grabbed her breast and forced her into the stall.

Inside the stall, he pushed her down to her knees, pulled down his pants, and forced his genitals into her mouth.

A witness heard screams for help from the restroom, knocked on the door, and heard banging from inside. When the door was opened, the woman crawled out onto the floor; Shcherbakov then said “sorry” and fled the scene.

Convicted and Deported

Shcherbakov denied the crime. He claimed that he went down to the restrooms simply to use the toilet and that he did not notice the woman. The district court dismisses this version as a fabrication.

The video footage shows that he remained outside the restroom the woman had entered and that he made contact with her when she opened the door. The court concludes that it is impossible that he did not notice her.

On August 19 this year, Malmö District Court convicted Shcherbakov of rape. The sentence was set at three years and three months in prison. After serving his sentence, he is also to be deported from Sweden and prohibited from returning. He is to pay the woman damages of 245,558 kronor.
