In a post on social media on Thursday, the Swedish Church reminds how it has fully embraced political correctness and why so many no longer want to be members.
November 20 is the ‘Transgender Day of Remembrance’ in memory of the transgender individuals who have been murdered during the year due to ‘transphobia’. The day is also used to remind of the alleged violence that transgender individuals are said to face today.
The day was established in 1999 by a group of women to remember the murders of two black trans women. Just like with other politically correct phenomena from the US that are adopted by the left and are ‘in’ until the next thing comes along – like Black Lives Matter – the Swedish Church believes that this is also needed in Sweden.

Together with a prayer, the church publishes an image of the trans flag:

”The Swedish Church is so pathetic right now”
Far from everyone welcomes the message.
“You disgrace the name and purpose of God! God created us as man and woman, who are you to dishonor God’s creation and word? The Swedish Church is so pathetic right now, dare to stand for God’s message instead of the activists”, writes one person and receives the response:
“No, we do not disgrace the name and purpose of God. We cherish God’s creation because we are the Swedish Church. It is not pathetic to stand on the side of the vulnerable. It is part of our mission as a church.”
While the Swedish Church wants to highlight violence against transgender individuals, it does not mention that individuals from the group have been perpetrators in violent incidents and mass shootings in the US on several occasions.
