Expo lashes out in a so-called “comment” against the fact that Minister for Civil Defense Carl-Oskar Bohlin was interviewed on a podcast. By participating in the interview, he gives “legitimacy” to far-right channels, according to the far-left site.
It was last Thursday that Bohlin was interviewed on the podcast “Gröning & Blomgren Utanför”, a podcast backed by Epoch Times. The podcast is hosted by journalist Lotta Gröning and nuclear physicist Jan Blomgren.

In the interview, Bohlin criticizes the dismantling of total defense in the 1990s and contends that Swedish politicians tend to veer towards extremes, whether in education, migration, energy, defense, or security policy. He adds that it is very costly and takes a long time to change course once the consequences become apparent.
– People sometimes say that Sweden is a land of moderation. I protest against that and say that Sweden is a land of extremes. It hasn’t always served us well, he says, among other things.
Critisized by Expo
But Carl-Oskar Bohlin’s participation in Lotta Gröning and Jan Blomgren’s podcast is now being criticized by Expo. According to the far-left site, interviewer Blomgren is part of a “far-right ecosystem where gross racism against minorities thrives.”
The reason is that Blomgren has, on several occasions, been interviewed by Swebbtv and Frihetsnytt. These are interviews that Expo thinks he should not have participated in.

The controversy, therefore, is that the Minister for Civil Defense is being interviewed by someone who in turn has been interviewed by others whom Expo deems objectionable. Now the far-left site is demanding “a clear boundary against political extremism and its messengers.”
It should also be mentioned that Jan Blomgren is a columnist for Världen idag, has written several articles for Timbro, and has authored books published by the liberal think tank’s publishing house.
