Two men and a woman, all citizens of Afghanistan, are charged with the notorious murder outside Stockholm in March last year, where a 37-year-old man with a non-Western immigrant background was violently killed, placed in a bag, and dumped in a forest area a distance from the crime scene. The motive for the deed has been determined to be honor-related – the victim is a man who had a relationship with the accused woman, who now has a relationship with one of the accused men.
It was on the seventh of March that a dead body was found in a bag on Värmdö east of Stockholm. The person was found to have been killed with a knife after being subjected to severe abuse. Suspicions quickly fell on close associates of the victim, and it was determined to be an honor killing.
The two main suspects were found to be a couple, and the victim was a man whom the woman in the couple had previously had a relationship with and reported to the police for abuse and rape. The third suspect is the woman’s brother and, according to the indictment, had a more peripheral involvement in the honor killing.
Deceived into the woman’s apartment
According to the indictment, the murder occurred when the man was lured to the woman’s apartment, where her new partner was waiting. Once inside the residence, the severe abuse began, culminating in the victim being killed with a knife by having his throat cut.
The body was then dismembered, and the body parts were placed in garbage bags, which were then placed in a large suitcase. It was then transported away from the crime scene and dumped in a forest area.
The suspects fled abroad after the murder, and only one of them could later be arrested, detained, and remanded in custody. The other two were remanded in their absence. Now charges are brought against all three.
The accused
Saeed Waziri, born 2004-06-06 and a citizen of both Afghanistan and Sweden, is charged with murder, aggravated desecration of a grave, and gross misuse of a document. He has no prior convictions in Sweden.

Wajiha Korashi, born 1999-09-02 and a citizen of Afghanistan, is charged with murder and aggravated desecration of a grave. The prosecutor has requested that she be deported from Sweden for life after serving her sentence. She has previously appeared in the criminal record for shoplifting.
***
Sayed Rija Korashi, born 1998-04-20 and a citizen of both Afghanistan and Sweden, is charged with aggravated shielding of a criminal and attempted aggravated fraud. He has been previously convicted of unauthorized driving.
Two other individuals were suspected of involvement in the murder. However, the evidence against them has not been deemed sufficient for prosecution.
Assisted murder suspects in fleeing the country
The accessory crime that Sayed is charged with consists of helping the other two to flee the country after the murder. According to the indictment, he drove them by car to Malmö, over the Öresund Bridge to Denmark, and further down to Germany, from where the two suspected murderers continued their escape on their own.
The charge of gross misuse of a document against Saeed is not related to the murder but pertains to him, on several occasions, handing over his driver’s license and passport to another person for various purposes, including paternity testing and a number of trips abroad.
