Over the weekend, a rap artist was arrested and remanded in custody on probable cause suspicion of serious drug offenses and serious weapon offenses. According to the prosecutor, the police found large quantities of cocaine.

It was at midnight on Friday that the police raided an address in Huddinge municipality in southern Greater Stockholm and found the drugs.

On Sunday, the rapper was remanded in custody on probable cause suspicion of the crimes, and Samnytt can report that it concerns 22-year-old Gabriel Koc with an immigrant background from Turkey and Morocco. He is better known by the artist name G1ocatore.

Koc, who was sentenced to three years in prison for serious weapon offenses in 2022, recently got out, and despite the sentence, he has fallen back into the gang environment.

The serious weapon offense concerns a music video that was allegedly recorded in Botkyrka municipality and was published on YouTube last summer.

The rapper has several million plays on platforms such as Spotify and YouTube. Furthermore, his music has been played on Sweden’s Radio P3.

The rapper denies the charges.
