On Thursday morning, the special forces were called to a school in Stockholm where a student armed with an axe allegedly attacked a teacher.
At 10:15, the alarm came from an adult education school in Liljeholmen. When the police arrived, the perpetrator was apprehended and is now suspected of attempted aggravated assault.

The police have gathered information about the incident through witness interviews and surveillance footage.
According to witnesses, the police special forces were called to the scene and people were evacuated from a building. Students at the school in question were also sheltered for a period of time.

“It’s a person who attempted to strike another person with an axe. However, no one is seriously injured, only minor injuries,” said police spokesperson Anna Westberg to TV4.
According to Westberg, the suspect is a student and the victim is a teacher. However, the motive is currently unknown.
