It is the so-called Hate Speech Monitor that is behind the hate speech report against Richard Jomshof. The SD member of parliament reveals this on the social media platform X.

Jomshof is being interrogated on Tuesday as a suspect for incitement to racial hatred due to sharing two satirical images on social media.

The Special Prosecution Office is handling the investigation against the member of parliament. Chief Prosecutor Joakim Zander has previously been tight-lipped about the investigation when speaking to Samnytt.

Hate Speech Monitor reported

Now Richard Jomshof himself reveals that it is the so-called Hate Speech Monitor that is behind the incitement to racial hatred report against him. The left-wing organization received state funding from 2017 to 2019 to investigate and report individuals who were deemed to have expressed themselves inappropriately on social media.

The non-profit association Hate Speech Monitor was deregistered with the Swedish Tax Agency in March last year, but the activities are still ongoing.

“The fact that apparently it is the so-called ‘Hate Speech Monitor’ that has reported me to the police confirms that the aim is to try to silence me and stifle the debate about one of our time’s biggest problems; the very large immigration to Sweden and Europe from the Middle East and North Africa,” writes Richard Jomshof in a post on X.
