In a short period of time, the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has been the target of two assassination attempts, one of which was only a few millimeters away from being successful. One of the reasons cited for the violence is the rhetoric among journalists and politicians, where Trump is constantly portrayed as a ”racist”, ”fascist” and ”a threat to democracy”.

In the increasingly politically correct and divided USA, anyone not on the far left is labeled with all sorts of derogatory terms, including Donald Trump.

This is something that more and more people have started to connect with the assassination attempts on Trump, where the presidential candidate is essentially portrayed as an acceptable target, as he is claimed to pose such a significant and existential threat.
