On Thursday, an electric bus suddenly caught fire in traffic. According to the rescue service, the smoke could be toxic.

It was at 1 pm when SOS Alarm received a call about a fire on Västtrafik’s bus line 1 in Hälsö in the northern archipelago of Gothenburg.

Flames erupted from the bus, and after the rescue service arrived, heavy smoke emerged. However, the rescue service couldn’t handle the extinguishing work on their own, and two hours later, the fire flared up again.
